T-County Clay Busters

2020 Tennessee SCTP Varsity State Champions

The T-County Clay Busters are members of the Tennessee Scholastic Clay Target Program (TNSCTP). The TNSCTP is the #1 Youth Scholastic Shooting Program in the Nation.  The TNSCTP provides Tennessee’s youth, grades 5-12 and now collegiate athletes, an opportunity to compete in clay target shooting competitions with their peers from across the state. These young athletes are supervised and instructed by NRA Certified Coaches and adult volunteers that have a passion for youth development.

Since the programs inception in 2001, participation in the TNSCTP has grown enormously. Currently, more than 2000 youth are registered SCTP athletes in Tennessee. The TNSCTP is designed to teach student athletes the importance of safe firearms handling, responsibility, leadership, teamwork and to promote healthy competition.

The T-County Clay Busters, formally known as the Brighton Shooting Team, were founded in 2006 by Larry Harmon and William Lee. The T-County Clay Busters are currently coached by 7 NRA certified coaches.
